Our studio is situated on the ground floor of Chalet des Ecrins "Chamois" block, where a small hamlet of privately owned apartments and chalets make up this peaceful location in Combloux. The studio is ideally suited to people who want to get away from it all. Perfect for couples or families with a maximum of 2 young children (although bunkbeds will accommodate 2 adults).

During winter months a small drag lift just outside our studio door (30 metres away) takes you to the main Combloux/Jaillet pistes. Here you will find restaurants, equipment hire, ski school and ticket office where you can buy your daily/weekly ski pass.

During summer months the studio is ideally located for some wonderful walking/mountain biking trails that will provide you with splendid views of the valley below and spectacular panoramic mountain scenery.

The village of Combloux is approximately 2 km away therefore transport is an advantage - but not necessarily essential - as a ski bus during winter and summer months runs regularly between the village and the ski school area and is Free of Charge!!!

Our studio is furnished to a very comfortable standard and includesl essentials such as; colour tv, video player, pre-recorded tapes, (English) stereo with selection of cd's, board games, cards, teapot, cork screw, kettle, iron etc to name but a few. The layout of the studio comprises of;

• Bathroom - complete with shower, mirrored cabinet, and towel rail.
• Separate Toilet - housing hotwater tank and cleaning mops and brushes.
• Bunkbed area (separated by an adjoining door to the lounge) - providing underbed storage and large hanging coat/boot cupboard.
• Kitchen/Dining/Lounge area - is all in one area -where a comfortable Click Clack settee, quickly converts to a double bed. There is ample cupboards and hanging wardrobes to accommodate your clothing storage. The dining area comprises of a foldaway table with 4 dining chairs stored underneath, thereby maximising the living area when not in use. The Kitchen area has a 2 ring electric hob including a separate mini grill and oven which is housed directly above. There is a fridge with small freezer compartment and ample shelving and cupboards to store your groceries.
• A ski locker (in the basement of the apartment block) is provided for our guests' use where skis, snowboards and sleds can be stored safely and securely. Additionally there is a small cave where suitcases, bicycles etc can be stored for safe keeping.

There is ample parking spaces just outside the studio area plus a telephone box that accepts French phones cards only (these can be purchased from the village paper shop)..
